Safe and effective heated ultrasonic bath cleaning for carburettors, valves, pistons & all small fuel delivery items.
Items, such as carburettors, can be sent complete and we will dismantle, clean & reassemble. Alternatively we welcome individual items or carburettors etc. already dismantled.
Ultrasonic cleaning uses cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound) waves to agitate the cleaning liquid. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants that adhere to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber, and ceramics. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses. The ultrasonic process thoroughly removes all traces of contamination tightly adhering to or embedded onto solid surfaces. Contaminants can include carbon, stale fuel, dust, dirt, oil, rust, grease etc.
This makes it ideal for cleaning downdraught and sidedraught carburettors found on most classic cars, classic motorcycles, petrol lawnmowers, hedgecutters, strimmers and chainsaws that typically have a myriad of very small passages and jets that are otherwise difficult or impossible to clean using other traditional cleaning methods such as spray cleaners or compressed air.
